Regent’s Park, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 – Sunday, October 13, 2024
In just a few days, the 21st edition of Frieze London and Frieze Masters will open its doors to the public. Frieze London showcases works from 2000 to date and Frieze Masters all that came before it. A Studio Between has reconfigured the layout, and the new entrance will undoubtedly entice people to meander among the fair’s curated sections.
For the second time, the Artist-to-Artist section, which was such an incredible success last year, will include six solo presentations showcasing some of the best up-and-coming artists from around the world. Zineb Sediar, Rashid Johnson, Lubaina Himid, Hurvin Anderson, Yinka Shonibare, and Glenn Ligon are charged with selecting their favourite artist.
Gagosian is attending with two outstanding names among the young and upcoming artists: Anna Weyant, the ‘millennial Boticelli’ and Carol Bove with her colourful steel sculptures.
This year, the fashion brand Stone Island, alongside Frieze’s existing supporters, will support younger galleries less than ten years old to participate in the fair.
And whilst you walk around with eyes wide, taking in all that this incredible fair has to offer, don’t forget to walk around Regent’s Park, showcasing all those sculptures that don’t fit inside.
In total, you can expect 160 galleries from 43 countries.
