The bidding has begun for works by over 165 artists in the ‘Artists for Kamala’ auction supporting the Harris/Walz presidential campaign. All proceeds will go toward the Harris Victory Fund (HVF), a “joint fundraising committee raising funds for Harris for president, the Democratic National Committee, and Democratic State parties throughout the United States”.
Some of the world’s leading contemporary artists, including Jeff Koons, Shepard Fairey, Amy Sherald, and Jenny Holzer, with her ‘There are too few immutable truths today’ work, have donated their works to be auctioned on the platform Artsy. Bidding will remain open through October 8th – active bids range between USD 2,000 and USD 150,000.
There is also a buy-now option that includes 45 fixed-price works by Alex Katz, Jason Moran, Alice Neel, and George Clinton, among others.
